WiFi & IP Info – One Click is a macOS menu bar utility that displays Wi-Fi network information, IP addresses, and connection status. We are committed to protecting your privacy — the app is designed to work locally with minimal data footprint.

📊 Analytics

The app uses TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous usage analytics. TelemetryDeck is privacy-first: all data is anonymized before it leaves your device — your identity cannot be derived from it.

The analytics may include:

App launch events
Feature usage (e.g. copy IP, switch Wi-Fi network)
App version and macOS version
Device type (anonymized)

TelemetryDeck does not collect names, email addresses, IP addresses, or any personally identifiable information. Learn more at telemetrydeck.com/privacy.

You are in control You can disable analytics at any time directly inside the app. When turned off, no usage data is sent to any third-party service.

🚫 What We Don't Collect

Wi-Fi passwords or network credentials
Your IP addresses transmitted to any server
Personal data sold, shared, or monetized
Advertising SDKs or tracking frameworks

🔐 System Permissions

Location Services

Required by macOS/CoreLocation to read the current Wi-Fi SSID (network name). Location data is never stored or transmitted.

Used to determine your external IP address (displayed locally, not stored) and perform ping checks to measure latency.

🗄️ Data Retention

No personal data is stored on our servers. Anonymous analytics aggregates are retained by TelemetryDeck per their own retention policy.
